RESTORATION OF EUTROPHIC LAKES: CURRENT PRACTICES AND FUTURE CHALLENGES (LAHTI LAKES 2018) aims to bring together international experts to present the state of the art in the science of lake restoration and the underlying biogeochemical processes. We also want to stimulate debate about future challenges, such as the impacts of environmental change and economic development on lake systems, and to foster discussion of best practices for lake restoration in the future. The symposium is organized by the Universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä, together with the Lake Vesijärvi Foundation.
Pre-registration and abstract submission officially closed on 31.01.2018. The organizing committee is currently building the program from the submitted abstracts. If you missed the abstract deadline but still wish to make a presentation at the symposium, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
