LAHTI LAKES 2018 took place on 4-6. June 2018. The symposium brought together international experts to present the state of the art in the science of lake restoration and the underlying biogeochemical processes. There was a lively debate about future challenges in the field, such as the impacts of environmental change and economic development on lake systems. The symposium was organized by the Universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä, together with the Lake Vesijärvi Foundation. The organizers thank all participants for an excellent symposium!
